Reminder Robot puts Seniors’ Minds at Ease

The University of Tokyo has developed a series of reminder robot prototypes that can help the elderly remember where they have placed certainitems or what tasks they have already completed. One such robot, named “Mamoru,” which means “to protect” in Japanese, watches every move its owner makes and gives a verbal warning if he or she tries to do complete the same task twice.
