Pros – Sony’s new addition to its Vaio Y series of laptops is a MacBook Air competitor that features an 11.6-inch, 1366 x 768 resolution display, a 1.33GHz Intel Core i3 processor, 2GB of RAM, 320GB of hard drive space and a 6-hour capacity battery. Also includes an island/chiclet-style keyboard, 3 USB ports, 1 HDMI port, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, Motion Eye Webcam and a 3-in-1 memory card reader. With a slim 1.2-inch thick frame and weighing around 3.2 pounds, it’s about the size of a Netbook but features the power and performance of a full-sized laptop computer.
Cons – Full laptop performance at a Netbook size comes at an expensive price. As with smaller Netbooks, this Vaio has no optical drive.
