Samsung has really gotten the Plasma 3D HDTV right with the 8000 series. The PN59D8000 is a 59-inch set, with a sturdy base and silver bezel to match any light-colored room. Picture quality is fantastic, and with a 600Hz refresh rate, it shows no ghosting or image problems even with sports or other fast action, even in 3D. It’s very easy on the eyes.

Instead of infrared signal for your 3D glasses, the Samsung uses Bluetooth, so you’ll have to sync the glasses the first time. Nice part is that the glasses won’t fall out of sync if you walk out of the room to grab a sandwich.

The included remote includes a QWERTY keyboard, which some users complain that it’s slow and a little awkward, but overall a good match for the set. Web features include browsing, social networking, streaming downloads and more.
