Backup cameras are extremely useful to help you avoid hitting people, cars and other objects that might be behind your car when you’re backing up or parking. If you already have a car with one, you’re all set. Adding it on as a feature often comes with a particular trim level package, so to get it you may also have to get leather heated seats, premium stereo, etc. which can add THOUSANDS of dollars to the price of your car.

This cool little unit comes from Pyle, and you can install it on ANY car. Even cars way too, er, classic to have had it as an option when they were made. You can use it with your Edsel or your Camry. It requires professional installation, including wiring it up to power so it comes on when you shift into reverse. Once it’s on, you can see behind you in daylight or at night without looking back, and you’ll be able to see if the kids left a bigwheel on the driveway behind you or just how close your bumper is to the car you’re backing toward.
