Panasonic’s new VIERA TC-P55ST30 offers a room-filling, beautiful picture with some of the best technology available. It’s plasma, the best picture quality of all the flat screen television, and with the latest Panasonic technology, this set is great for watching sports or movies, it’s crisp, clear and very easy to see from anywhere in almost any room. Panasonic has technology like 3D Cinema Smoother that smooths motion and eliminates judder seen on some movies, Dynamic Contrast to offer rich, deep blacks and adapt to the picture to make it as crisp and clear as possible.

It features full HD 3D (shutter glasses required for 3D content). There’s even an SD card slot so you can watch your 3D photos and movies from your 3D camera or camcorder.

The TC-P55ST30 has 3 HDMI inputs, 1 each component and composite, optical digital audio, two USB ports, and supports MP3 and MPEG playback. It’s Wireless LAN ready and offers VIERA Connect, Panasonic’s internet suite. It doesn’t have the THX mode that the higher-end Panasonic GT30 line has. The set is rated at over 100,000 hours (that’s 30 years of watching TV 8 hours a day). You’ll probably want the new 80-inch holographic 4D TV set by then.
