Panasonic’s newest VIERA set, the TC-P42S30, is a 42-inch plasma tv that offers a really clear, easy-to-see picture. It’s engineered for bright, accurate colors to take advantage of great picture quality from Blu-ray, HD content from cable/satellite, even from HD cameras. There’s inputs via HDMI and even an SD card slot to make viewing from most modern HD cameras and video cameras easy. It can be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi for streaming video and music, as well. There’s a Game Mode that refreshes even faster to take advantage of all the graphics and speed of modern video games. It has a high refresh rate and advanced picture controls that automatically optimize it to play back anything at its best, reducing blurring and artifacts.

The set can even be set up to automatically adjust brightness based on the brightness of the room it’s in, great for rooms that go from bright and sunny in the daylight to dark at night. The included 20-watt speakers are good at reproducing sound if you don’t have a home theater setup.

  • Internet-ready.
  • Full HD, plays a variety of formats.
  • Fast Switching Phosphor
