Barnes And Noble answers Amazon’s Kindle Fire with the new Nook Tablet. Nearly the same price, at $249, with 2.5 million books, magazines, comics and kids’ books, as well as email, a web browser, and streaming video. Video choices include HD movies, TV shows via Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. and streaming music via Pandora. It features a 7-inch touch screen, 16GB of memory, microSD card expansion, and NOOK support in-store. It will have Angry Birds, Epicurious and other apps, but no word as to how much of the rest of the Android market will be available. It comes out three days after the Kindle Fire, on November 18th.
