It’s good to be prepared for an emergency. If your power is out due to a storm or other disaster, your cell phone may be out as well. It’s a good idea to have an emergency radio/flashlight that can be kept charged until needed, and hand-cranked if no other power is available. I’ve owned a few cheap ones, and they invariably fail when I’ve needed them most. This one by Kaito is solidly built and reliable.
