Acer’s pocket-sized Iconia Tab A100 has a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM with 8 or 16 GB of internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for up to 32GB more storage. The display is good, at 1024×600 and a 16:10 aspect ratio (most movies will barely be letterboxed on this screen). It’s responsive, runs the latest version of Honeycomb (Android OS v 3.2), but pays a price in battery life. It’s good for around 5-6 hours between charges. If you’re going on a long trip, you will need a way to charge it and/or carry an external battery with you. It does seem to charge faster than most tablets. It’s a little heavier than a Galaxy Tab.

Overall, it’s well-liked and is one of the best budget tablets currently out.
