Siri, the popular and often mocked iPhone 4S assistant, will soon add a few more languages to her repertoire. Though she currently speaks English, French and German, the folks over at Apple say she’s working on Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese.
These languages are set to debut sometime in 2012. Once available, they should be found in the iPhone’s settings. No word on whether she’s mastered the Scottish accent yet, or how accurate her language skills will be if, say, a non-native speaker tried to talk to Siri in Spanish.
