Read Ebooks on Firefox with Kindle’s Cloud Reader

For those who don’t have a Kindle or a tablet or smartphone with the Kindle app, Amazon has announced it will now let its readers access their e-books through the Firefox web browser. To retrieve your Kindle books, you must utilize the Kindle Cloud service, which is available for free in Amazon’s Kindle Store.

Once you’ve downloaded and enabled the service, you can begin reading your books offline or online from any Internet-enabled laptop. This new service would be ideal if you’re going to be stuck on an airplane or train for long periods of time. It could also come in handy on vacations or family trips where Internet access isn’t widely available.
