Celery Bridges the Gap Between Snail Mail and Email

The New York-based company Celery is marketing a device that would allow just about anyone to use email, albeit in a very simple fashion. To send an email, a person simply hand-writes a letter and drops it in Celery’s inbox. This device looks like a printer, butthe “inbox” is actually just a scanner. Once the inbox has accepted the email it scans it and automatically emails it to a pre-set recipient.
